What is Permanent Makeup?
Permanent makeup is a cosmetic procedure also known as micropigmentation. A specialist device using tiny cartridge needles implants medical grade pigments colours into the dermis of the skin. The colour and shape is matched to your skin tone, hair and eye colour.
Does Permanent Makeup look natural?
It is important when selecting your permanent makeup technician to know that they are reputable and highly experienced in this field. They will understand your needs and provide you with permanent makeup to look as natural and attractive as conventional cosmetics.
Who would benefit from permanent make-up?

Almost everyone can benefit from permanent makeup as long as over the age of 18 years.  The end result will make you look younger, fresher and enhance your own natural features.  Permanent Makeup saves time, frustration and looks good all day every day.

Permanent makeup is also ideal for people who take part in sport, have difficulty applying makeup or are allergic to cosmetics. It can also help to camouflage scarring and bring life-changing benefits to alopecia clients and to people who have had breast reconstruction work or have experienced hair loss following chemotherapy treatment.

Am I suitable for permanent makeup?
Most people over the age of 18 years from the young to the elderly who desire a soft, natural enhancement to their appearance. During a consultation with Tracy, she will discuss with you specifically which treatments will suit you best taking into account your expectations, and any of your features that may require enhancing…
Does Permanent Makeup hurt?
Every client is individual and some clients do not feel anything and others have likened the sensation to having their eyebrows tweezed. A simple cream will help to numb the area if you do feel any discomfort. Tracy will ensure you are comfortable throughout the whole procedure.
What features can you improve with Permanent Makeup?
The eyebrows can be redesigned to give you beautiful eyebrows, eyeliner creates a more open wide look to the eye and brings out the eye colour. Lips can be enhanced in shape and blushed with a pigment colour to create a sensual lip tone. Under my medical procedures we can help people who have suffered hair loss by creating simulated hair on the head and brows. For post breast cancer patients it is often the completion of areolas.
What will I look like after my Permanent Makeup treatment?
The aftercare is very simple and you can go about your day immediately. Although some people may have a little swelling or redness. This soon disappears and a cold compress can be applied if needed. After the procedure, for a few days your makeup will look a little darker and the colour lighten by 40% to create your desired look. A retouch will be scheduled between four and six weeks to achieve a perfect result.
Can I still wear conventional make-up?
Once the enhancement has healed conventional makeup can be applied. Permanent makeup is designed to enhance your natural features but you still have the option of applying conventional makeup.
