Skin Micro Needling
& WOW Fusion
How Can We Help?
Micro Needling also known as CIT (Collagen Induction Therapy) is a used medically and cosmetically to treat the skin. A treatment proven to deliver results for scars, stretch marks, acne scarring to name a few when performed over a course of three to eight with 6-8 week intervals. It is also commonly used for face rejuvenation, pigmentation, lines and wrinkles, and loss of skin tone and elasticity on the face, neck and decolletage.
It is important that a qualified experienced practitioner performs the treatment to ensure the correct device, pressure and technique are chosen. Tracy has 20 years working with clients to help them achieve their skin goals and this medium is always one of the top treatments she recommends. A thorough consultation is paramount so that a full picture of lifestyle, health, nutrition, and the skin products used at home are taken into consideration before a prescribed treatment programme is recommended.
How it works? The skin is cleaned, and a topical numbing cream is applied for 15 minutes so not to feel any discomfort. Then a digital device is used with a new sterile cluster of needles to glide over the skin to create stimulation to achieve a brighter, smoother looking skin whilst targeting fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation and scarring to produce new collagen and elastin. Alternative mediums are the dermal roller, normally used for larger areas and on large scar tissue or a sterile glass vial with gold plated short needles deliver a prescribed combination of meso skin cosmeceuticals from the WOW Fusion range into the skin to create a healthier, younger-looking skin for the face and body. Tracy will advise you at the consultation which method will provide you with the best results.
